In engineering school I learned about transistors and integrated circuits. Tubes (thermionic valves) were considered quaint, unreliable, and obsolete. But one thing nobody banked on was tubes being the ideal solution for making a guitar amplifier. So here I am late in life trying to learn all I can about them. Cuz I needed a new hobby.
